In deze video gaat Jeltsen Peeters dieper in op het begrip ‘self-regulated learning’, de strategieën die daarbij betrokken zijn en hoe die van toepassing zijn in MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses). Ze verwijst hierbij naar onderzoek over zelfregulerend leren in Moocs van o.a. Allison LittleJohn en René Kizilcec. Concreet gaat het over 6 strategieën die belangrijk zijn binnen deze context (Kizilcec et al, 2017).
- Goal setting: Setting of educational goals or sub-goals in order to exert the effort required to achieve those goals.
- Strategic planning: Planning the sequence, timing, and completion of activities directed at learning goals.
